Brief on Auwal Adamu Gene

Hello, I am Auwal Gene, of the Adamu Gene family at Gbesare, Kaiama. Born more than four decades ago on a Monday morning within the precincts of Uwa-Isi Faandi (at Gbesare) Kaiama, I am a Computer Scientist by profession specializing in Web Applications Engineering. I occasionally lecture and supervise students’ projects, too. I am also a Chartered IT Professional and member of the Computer Professionals (Registration) Council of Nigeria.

I attended the then ZEB Primary School Kaiama, where I held the prefectship of Head Boy. I also had a two-year stint at the then Borgu Secondary School, New-Bussa before moving on to Ilorin Grammar School, Ilorin to complete my secondary education. I was at Kwara Poly, Ilorin and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (where I was retained and deployed to the Software Development Unit of the Institute of ICT as a staff after my postgrad studies).

It is true that I only occasionally visit Kaiama since after my Primary School; but I had never for once ignored the urge to do something practical towards advancing the general educational attainments of our priceless sons and daughters of Kaiama. So, you could say that this initiative here is an important dream come true for me and I am especially pleased to take on this challenging mission with Zakari and our other supporters.

We shall not rest until the objectives are fully realized, God willing. Luda wato kone, aamin.
