THE primary mission of the Kaiama Busuneno Students Financial Aid Initiative is to try and provide consistent financial assistance to Kaiama Busuneno students who are studying for their first degree (undergraduate) programmes at regcognised public Universities across Nigeria, so as to lighten the many burdens of life away from home as these sons and daughters of Kaiama travel hundreds of kilometers every year through challenging climes and terrains in search of knowledge and liberation. Whenever we can, we shall also be providing guidance and mentorship by organizing series of seminars and workshops in their favour, whereat they may gain financial literacy and valuable soft skills that will further enhance their chances of success in life after University Education.
For starters, our resources are lean at the moment; so we are able to cater only for Students of Kaiama origin who are studying for their first degree programmes at Universities.
Students enrolled into all spheres of academic discipline (Science, Arts, Humanities, Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Sciences and all) are encouraged to come on board. [Create Your Account]
Our financial aid is not restricted to students from Kaiama township alone. We are looking for students from all Wards and Villages under Kaiama LGA to come on board and be assisted.
We are out to assist every son and daughter of Kaiama who is pursuing a first degree programme, irrespective of their CGPAs. We encourage all to strive for academic excellence at all times, though.
Beneficiaries don’t have to be residing within Kaiama or Kaiama LGA to enjoy our assistance. They may be residing anywhere in Nigeria, but must be bona fide sons and daughters of Kaiama.

We have critically thought about our situation in Kaiama and we have taken the courage to set up the Kaiama Busuneno Students Financial Aid Initiative not because we are rich enough to give out the excess, but because we become enriched by giving even the little we have. By our experiences and understanding of life so far, we have become aware that love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver. So, it is all about enhancing the well-being of our beneficiaries as well as our own through selfless giving. This is the chief motive behind our efforts in this direction.
Through this initiative, we are taking it upon ourselves to practically encourage our young generation of Busuneno sons and daughters to passionately embrace higher education for their own good and for the good of Kaiama [and, by extension, for the good of Borgu Kingdom and humanity at large].
It is all about re-orienting ourselves to know that deliberately stepping out of our own comfort zones to help our own sons and daughters is key to success, both at the individual and communal level. [And] this difficult but necessary help that we offer through this initiative goes beyond providing financial assistance to sons and daughters of our land.
We shall, God willing, endeavour to always provide mentorship, we shall always encourage the quest for excellence, we shall always promote kinship, and we shall always endeavour to light the path of every son and daughter of Kaiama land as they courageously leave their kith and kin behind and step out in pursuit of higher education and liberation, wherever they may go.
WE know this is going to be a hard (really hard) challenge, but we are determined to try as much as we can to help our people. We shall never quit in this effort until we have tried our last effort; and we have not tried our last effort until we succeed in this initiative. Luda wato kone and may our struggles bear fruit that will benefit humanity even long after we might have departed this world.
